Carpenter

A carpenter is a skilled tradesperson who works with wood to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as buildings, furniture, cabinets, and frameworks. Carpenters typically work with a variety of tools, including saws, hammers, chisels, drills, and measuring devices, to cut, shape, and join wood and other materials. They may work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, factories, and workshops, and may specialize in areas such as rough carpentry, finish carpentry, or cabinetry. Carpenters must be knowledgeable about construction materials and techniques, and must be able to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents.
